Herringbone

“Herringbone” is a song about getting in step with a crush, as viewed through the eyes of a stalker. While the soulful vocals hint at affection, the aggressive tone accentuates the lyrics' true intent.

“Herringbone” is the fourth single of the American band Super Love. It was written by Constance Watkins and Jared Watkins and will be released on Friday, April 10th, 2020.

“The sweet Psych Blues guitar licks around the deep bendy basslines create an absorbing soundscape to slip into while the Alt Pop effect-laden vocals add plenty of robotic soul into the mix. […] it’s a strong cocktail of aural ingenuity with unrestrained playful imagination.”

Amelia Vandergast, A&R FACTORY

“Superbly danceable and addictive track”

— Barry Gruff

“Loved the funky funky funky groove and caught me off guard with the vocal, but it reminded me of Blondie if she were an alien in space.”

— when the horn blows

“Another rhythmic tune with soulful vocals and evocative sound full of great bass lines, also with gloomy vibes.”
